Lumina Foundation Education Innovation Prize
How would you help more adults obtain credentials that prepare them for the future of work and learning in the U.S.?
Lumina Foundation Wants to Know!
Lumina Foundation challenges you to tell us how you would help adults in the U.S. develop the skills and obtain the credentials that lead to further education and employment in a rapidly changing economy.
Lumina’s goal is to increase the proportion of working-age Americans with high-quality degrees, certificates, and other credentials to 60 percent by the year 2025. Accomplishing this will require the help of many groups — educators, entrepreneurs, innovators — anyone with a great idea.
The Lumina Foundation Education Innovation Prize is aimed at identifying entrepreneurial efforts that will help us reach this goal. The top three finalists for the Lumina Education Innovation Prize will pitch at a live event on April 16, 2019 in San Francisco for a $25,000 Audience Choice Award and a $25,000 Judges’ Choice Award. The audience will include education funders, investors, policy and community leaders.
